Hello and welcome to my Woodland Studio located in the rainforest of Bowen Island, British Columbia, Canada. This steep forested lot has been our home since 2007 when we cleared and built our cottage piece by piece.
This space is home to the many hats I wear as a work from home Mompreneur, on a little island in the Pacific Northwest. I have lived by the sea my entire life and can not imagine it any other way. While my children are at school, I run a small housekeeping company to offset the graphic design jobs that steadily trickle in. My highest priority is my family and how I can contribute without sacrificing precious family time. This mix seems to work for now, and for that, I am eternally grateful to the families that support me.
When not searching for beach treasures, or concocting my newest cleaning product, I am the proud mama of two beautiful children, the wife to a fearless rock climber and the caregiver to a vast menagerie of furred, feathered and scaled critters. I'm a pretend farmer on our chunk of forest where I grow vegetables and raise chickens and quail. I take great comfort in a hot cup of tea, vintage typography, fog horns and salty air.
